Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

I wonder what he thought of the food?

Given his work with BA on working out why airline food was carp he probably knew not to eat it...

Since when did being a famous chef have anything to do with food?

Have you watched any of his stuff? His knowledge and understanding of food, how it changes as it cooks, how we interpret it and what you can achieve with it is amazing.

Some of his stuff is a bit crazy but I have made quite a lot of things from his shows - the batter for fish using vodka is just outstanding. Actually if you cook from the chef's high end books (Ramsay 3* Chef for example - where I have cooked his lobster ravioli and pork belly multiple times) the food is stunning - just exhausting to make.

Any FFer should also watch his "Impossible Mission" episode about airline food - sure some of it is about camp cabin crew but the analysis of why food tastes like it does on board and the potential to improve it is fascinating.

If it wasn't clear I am somewhat of a fan...

Having eaten at Heston's Fat Duck restaurant last year and ticking off a bucket list item, and following it up with lunch at his restaurant Dinner, I can honestly say that if I was seated next to Heston on a flight I'd be a very nervous fangirl! Can't wait to see his show next week - although NFI what on earth the show will entail!

Brisbane Broncos on QF123 and some of them in the lounge at BNE on Thursday morning last week. When we arrived in Auckland, one of their top back line players came out of customs just ahead of us and headed straight over to the Maccas in arrivals ... not sure I should tip them against the Warriors today.

Lachlan & Sarah Murdoch on Sun 06 May at SYD Domestic Terminal. I was at Gloria Jeans with SO but it was actually my brother who noticed. Lachlan was holding what looked like a fluffy toy dophin in one hand & a walking stick in the other as he had some kind of cast or leg brace on while Sarah was holding toddler Aerin.

I think that's the ultimate DYKWIA moment; Having a DYKWIA chef tweeting about having a DYKWIA eating in his gin joint. - I now have a new DYKWIA target to aspire to. :)

Ha, I've actually personally experienced a Matt Moran "DYKWIA" moment face to face. Not a pleasant sight...

She is the female on the channel 9 Today show with that t**t Karl Stefanovic, previously she used to be the editor of Dolly magazine ! She is married to Peter Fitzsimmons - a former rugby player turned author/journalist.

I have a PhD in trivia :D

Thanks, so much. He was/is so famous I could not remember his name! I knew he was a former Wallaby, but!

Shared a recent flight with John ("Come on down!") Deeks and Megan Gale.
I have to confess, the camera does not do her justice, she is even more stunning IRL.
*sigh*
