Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Ray Martin was onboard the annual Pathfinders flight on Sat 12 Nov - this year to Hobart (from Sydney). He left early though as he had another engagement so we only flew one way with him.
Oops, forgot to mention that Simon Marnie of ABC radio 702 fame was also involved.

I had to transfer from Syd Int. last night to One Star (Jetstar @ domestic) and whilst waiting i heard a page on PA system for Ms Amy Johnson to get to the gate for her aircraft, maybe she did not disappear and landed on an island with the fountain of eternal youth?
I wont ever do that transfer again and will stay o/night and do the airside transfer with QF,

I think you are confusing the British Aviatrix (am I allowed to say that nowdays?) Amy Johnson who died in a plane crash in England 1941 with Amelia Earhart the American Aviatrix who disappeared over the Pacific Ocean in 1937.

Apologies, I did get my Aviatrix (not sure what the plural is here) mixed up, incidentally i was reading a very interesting web site recently about a US based group who are still searching for Amelia Earhart remains or plane bits, there are a few photos of some pieces found so far but i cant recall the web site name.

C'mon Ewing, it's the way that he was able to wilt that fresh lettuce that makes it special enough to appear in F. Most chefs cant do that
I would have said I a loud voice how the wine selection has gone to Carp since the last industry renowne expert wine panel was replaced by Carppool Uninspired nonexperts.

TonyHancock would have been apoplectic and choked on his GT

I suppose we should become familiar with that word, aviatrices, as there are now a lot more of them, although i am not sure if the "original" meaning (or impression given) is the same now as it was in the 1920's and 30's.
