Was 5 rows behind Prince William today on NZ525 AKL-CHC.
Saw Kevin Rudd in December last year QF124 AKL-BNE.
He had an empty seat beside him and the rest of the first two rows were his burly henchmen.

Would have been awesome so sit next to him I’d think… I don’t think I’d have known whether to talk or be quiet
Then there's those who aren't famous but think they are by association, like journalists covering HRH Prince William's Australian/NZ tour.
Checking in for their BNE/MEL flight "I'm so and so and I'm covering Prince William's tour"....
and????
Now are they someone really special because a) they're a journalist or b) they're a journalist covering the Royal Tour?
I would submit a third option, but I'm not allowed to use the actual word on here - so I'll just say c) because they are a bunch of flowers.LOL
Neither....
I was in the DJ lounge in MEL after the F1 (some other info was in the Off-Topic thread).
Saw the Sydney Swans (yay. Not an AFL fan).
One of the Car teams support crew were in the lounge + their corporate sponsor hanger-ons.
But the person of interest (I believe, can't confirm who it actually was) was the brother of a well known F1 driver with his GF/partner. He also races, and I originally thought he was the F1 driver (BUT - why would he be flying DJ Premium Economy???). Walked into the lounge and commented "As long as I don't have to sign any more autographs!".
Big (well not so big) Kim Beezley and Peter Beattie in the SYD F lounge on Monday 28 March.
Interesting they were not in the CL?
