I found this in an article linked to from Huff Post. I don't want to repost link here as I don't support traffic to clearly fake news websites. However #19 in the list of 20 Safest Airlines in the world in 2017 was none other than "Australian Airlines" ...:)

If you love traveling to Australia, this is the airline to use when you get there. It will take you to whatever city you like be it Melbourne or Sidney. It is because it operates in Australia thus understands clearly the itineraries of its passengers.

Its planes have elegant, sleek designs and eye-catching colors. Travel around Australia and enjoy what the world has to offer ranging from beaches, nature, wildlife and heritage sites.

At no 18... Virgin Australia

It also flies to other countries around the world such as the USA, New Zealand, Mexico, England, Canada (Toronto) and Singapore. However, in total it has over 400 destinations. Do not worry about the fare. There are affordable options to these destinations.

#9 = Qantas, #7 = Turkish!

Spelling is an exact quote. Aah, the good old reliable internet!

Using their apparent analysis then surely PanAm would rank equally high?

Good thing I never click on anything that says Huff Post...

I know I’m a bit late to the party on this thread, but does that article sound like it was written by a year 8 English student? One of the many reasons I avoid sites like Huff Post, buzzfeed, et al.
