Fairer & Simpler Enhanced QFF Optus Plans effective 12 April 2024

New pricing has taken effect - I know someone who contacted Optus and was offered a $20 monthly discount for the next 12 months and even an additional $1 per month for 36 months for a new Samsung Galaxy A15
I managed to squeeze a $20 monthly discount out of Optus last year which has just ended so I'm now looking for better options

Depending on your needs, amaysim (the Optus LCC) is very good for regular travellers.

The 30GB / $25 per 28d plan (and up) support 5G and you can bank unused monthly data.

For roaming, the $20 / 1yr 100 mins/100 SMS is a no brainer - plus you can rollover unused mins/SMS when you renew. Just use a 3rd party eSIM (or two) for roaming data.

Does amaysim cap download speed?
Agree with @SYD - moreover, if you are doing gome internet, their NBN plans are significant in their value.

I recently switched to Amaysim mobile and subsequently received an offer of $30 off for 6 months and $10 off thereafter while maintaining an actice Amaysim mobile.

Their 50Mbs download has a base price of $85, so $55 then $75. If you can get away with 25Mbs then it's $40 and $60.
