In October Mrs Simcat and I are flying to the UK on BA 'F', so we are planning to go to the Sydney Flounge for the standard pre-flight refreshments. Since we're not flying Qantas, will the lounge still try and get in touch with us so I can book Mrs Simcat in for some of the spa treatments? Or should I be contacting them myself, if so how far out from departure?

Thanks.

I assume your ticket is booked with BA, has a BA flight number on it, and you are flying with a BA aircraft.

Ordinarily, F Lounge spa treatments can only be booked in advance by QF F passengers, who should be proactively contacted.

Any other eligible F Lounge patrons, including Qantas Platinums and other oneworld Emeralds, normally cannot book spa treatments in advance. You'll just have to try your luck with the schedule once you arrive in the lounge.

It should not hurt to call the lounge the day before and ask politely in any case.
