I'm a new EY Gold.

Do VA lounges work similarly to QCs - ie you can checkin within the lounge? And thus you can enter the lounge with purely a member/elite card without a BP? Does this work with EY Gold card?

And as for guests - i know I am allowed one guest. Are they strict in counting kids as guests (so can't get entire family in)?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Could you be a little more precise, please? Have trawled a fair bit in that thread and searched and can't find a relevant response.

Cheers ...

I don't know the answer to the question or even if the answer can be found in that thread. However, posting the question in that thread will alert the hundreds of subscribers. That's where the fountain of all lounge access knowledge is based and that's where the question belongs, not in a standalone thread.

I entered the Virgin lounge in Melbourne the other week using my Etihad Guest Gold card. They wanted to see my boarding pass, and also added my Etihad membership number in to their system.

I have never been able to access a Virgin lounge using my Etihad card without providing them with details of a booking for onward travel that day, or a boarding pass.

Hope that helps.

Do you mean they took out your Velocity number and put the Etihad one in ?

This post by Jessica tam suggests you can just waive your EY card to get in (and I'm not doubting that)
