Good morning all,

Just wanted to get your thoughts on EY's Diamond First Class. I have read mixed responses, I am thinking of doing the trip MEL - SYD - AUH - MAN in a few years. Have you been in Diamond for such a long haul flight? I flew MEL - AUH - MAN in May in Coral and for such a long flight I found it OK but am definitely thinking of Diamond for next time.

Would be good for the Frequent Flyer rewards too because of the amount of status credits I would accrue !

What are some improvements that could happen in your opinion?

Can't comment about Diamond but Pearl to MXP was fine, though the width of the seats would not suit large people. Flights over all on Airbus planes with the return flights next week from Dublin all Boeing craft, though similar seat configurations from the plane layouts.
Direct aisle access, meals served when you wish, many seats set well back from the aisle, no noisy food carts some of the nice differences from typical airlines. Diamond no doubt have wider seats which was my only minor criticism not really affecting me.
Car pickup was great with the two cars needed to take the family being a large Audi and Caprice.

First class was very nice indeed ! Wide seat ect. But I my self prefer the J class on this carrier ! Will do it again to Dublin soon and will be very happy to go business .
