Just did a price check and it was oddly slightly dearer than double the price of 1 regular fare.

The only possible gotcha I can see it fall under (it's a bit early to already have sold out and availabllity otherwise is good) is "Other route restriction may apply."

Same experience. I happened to look at PER to JNB just the other day. Was available for just over $4k. The two for one comes in at over $8.5k. Seems like a con if you ask me.
