Extending Gold status

2nd year in a row!
last year had 250 Status Credits left...this year 50 - sent an email to Alan and got extended! Yay - Gold for another year!!
 
How come everyone gets comp except for poor vitagen? Would have loved another year of WP

I'd like to see the email. You would need some pretty big bargaining chips i would think.
With only 50 Status credits the OP must not fly QF much.
 
No bargaining chips. No hidden agenda. I simply wrote to Alan and asked him if he would extend for an additional year.
A member of Executive Relations called me back a week or so later and told me yes. I now have Gold until Dev 2014.

I thought the OP meant 50 SCs short.

Would be insane if the SG comp had been for only 50 SCs in the bank.

Yep - I had 50 left to retain gold this year (last year I had 250 SCs left and they still kept me at Gold).
