Hi,

Can anyone tell me which exact class are this flights?

Economy (P)
Economy (X)

thanks!

Here is a link to the QF website, assuming your flights are QF.

That said, X is an Economy award ticket and P is a First award ticket so perhaps you're not flying Qantas.

Bah, you're right.

I used points to book it through Qantas, but it's a BA flight...

Which carrier?

If QF then P sounds like award redemption for First Class () and X is award redemption for economy.

They would more than likely be economy award classes for BA flights! I know some award flights on AA flights book into weird classes.

Thanks all.

I found this:
flyerguide.com/wiki/index.php/Booking_Classes_(BA)

It seems X is economy and P is premium economy.

Anyone travelled premium economy with BA? how is it?

A bigger seat with a little more legroom, maybe a foot rest, Economy service.

More QFF points and SC's.

A little underwhelming! The seat is slightly bigger with a bit more leg room, but the service is most definitely economy.

There is a reason that it is about $1000 cheaper than QF premium economy.

I strongly disagree on the service issue, the service is way below that of QF economy. Food was atrocious, seats felt like they were older than the visibly aged 747. An experience I shall never repeat. After the recent merger the surly staff will probably be Spanish speaking!

LOL. I perhaps should have said that the service is supposed to be the same as economy!!

My experience was probably not that far removed from yours, although I would still take the seat over an economy seat.

The staff on the four legs I have flown in the last year were very surly.

....and I do it all again in April......*Sigh* :(

.....Good news is it is QF J and F for the remaining three UK flights, after the BA one, this year!! :)
