Expired $450 Travel Credit

Hi All,

Has anyone successfully lobbied AMEX to retrospectively grant an extension to an expired $450 travel credit.
I had mistakenly assumed my credit expired 27 February and it was actually 27 January.
The employee on the online chat function was unable to assist.
