Is there a kind person out there who could check J/U availability for me on QF81 for 5 April?

You can do this as a QFF by doing a dummy award booking using Qantas.com.

However, I notice that SeatCounter - The Booking Class Availability Machine is giving U (& Z numbers) at the moment, if not X.

As d15.in.oz posted it's showing J4/U0 ex SYD, but ex ADL it's showing J9/U0.

(Mind you, it is a pretty big ask to find award Business availability the day before an international flight ...)

Thank you both.

I was asking because I put in an upgrade request some time ago for my mother who is flying - just wondering what her chances were. Not good by the looks.

Actually, if your mother is travelling from ADL (J9D9C9), her chances are a lot better than if from SYD (J4D0C0).
