Expedia - same email address but multiple Member ID

I just booked a flight on Expedia on my laptop. I then try to check the details on my mobile app a few hours later but it wasn't there. After a few hours and trying to figure out why that's the case, I noticed that the Member ID on my laptop is different to my mobile app. They both have the same email address and details such as password, phone number, name and address. I called Expedia and they also have no idea.

The problems I have is that I will end up having are:
  • Can't access all my bookings with either my app or my laptop.
  • Can't go up membership tier easily as the bookings are spread over multiple accounts.
  • Can't have all the points in the 1 place.
Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?
