Flying QF to Melb on Wed AM 8am, return Friday 8pm. Cannot book any exit rows, or for that matter on the return leg, nothing in the first 14 rows!!!!???
Spoke to another very rude woman at Platinum and informed that all seats are blocked for Chairmans status?

This airline has become a complete joke, loyalty is spelt a little different at Qantas...STITCHUP!

Lol over reaction much. There is a system error. It is being looked into.

I've been able to call up in the meantime and Premium desk has happily allocated exit rows on the flights I couldn't.

Edit:

Exit row selection now back online for all my bookings :)

Just booked and selected exit row for two flights next week - system has been fixed.

All good things must come to an end. No-status pax were able to select seats for free whilst this wasn't working!

How far towards the front of the plane?

Am glad it has been rectified.

Only the standard no-status/bronze rows were available. There was no compromise of rows normally reserved for those with status.

This system seems to have been slightly enhanced.

Pre changes on the PER- SIN (A320?) you could select 45 B or J as exit row but A and K were always blocked out regardless of status as they were "undesirable" seats and you had to call. This is due to the slide bubble in front of your feet. The seat sold for the standard charge of $25 or nothing as a SG/WP.
During the issues neither was bookable online.
After the changes, both are able to be booked but you have to pay the full $90 for each seat.

This is what is visible to me on a no-status passenger's booking on SYD-PVG which is the same aircraft as PER-SIN (both A330-300). 45A and 45K definitely blocked, with no one actually in them.
