Morning folks,

Have a stack of QF DOM flights across various PNRs coming up over the next few weeks.

Logged on today to check some seating assignments, and to my surprise I'm unable to select exit rows on any of my flights (737/767).

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Status is SG! :D

Yes, I'm seeing the same - my exit row seat selection is still there but can't select other exit row seats.

Status SG / bookings in B bucket.

After reading this post i decided to have a look at it my self & yes I cant even pick exit rows on a 737 as a WP1 for my next flight coming up on the 10th October.

I always sit in row 4 in whY so it doesnt worry me, but it is a little strange.

I'm having the same issue. I thought it was because I had booked my last two flights within 24 hrs of flying (its been a busy few days). I asked at the Business Lounge and was allocated an exit row but seems strange to withdraw this without any notice.

For what its worth the CSR at the Syd J Lounge today said "we need to see you are capable of assisting in an emergency" - which is fair enough but that's why we can't OLCI when an exit row is selected, so the check-in crew can see us before confirming the exit row.

I've just had a look at my next booking (17 Oct) and no exit rows are available for selection. I have spoken to the P1 team about the international legs so I know they're gone but the domestic ones aren't showing. Still I've got 4C so it doesn't matter. :)

I feel like the odd one out - just selected an exit row for the epic BNE-PER route....WP here....

But two other flights they are blocked.

Strange.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Hey Red Roo, hope this is a software glitch and not an 'enhancement'.

Exit row seating is now reserved for non-English speaking families without status. The B and E seats on 737 aircraft are reserved for their infants.

(I'd check, but I don't have any domestic Y bookings coming up)

I have 10 flight segments booked until December and had preselected exit row at the time for all of them. I am still allocated to those seats but if I change to another I cannot reselect it.

? A case of emulating (realigning with) EK where exit rows are allocated only at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis with no regards for status (sorry, TonyHancock with your esteemed P1 card).

Red Roo, could you shed a light on this issue for us, mere WPs and the odd P1s, please ?

this is not good, what on earth is going on. I also can't select exit rows on domestic.

Amadeus is aware of the issue at the moment, has been reported as a high severity according to QF contact centre.

Thanks for the update.

My access is sporadic - some flights I can, some I can't as opposed to most people who seem to have been completely blocked.

Hope gets sorted!

I have just been on the phone to QF Premium desk... as I have lost the ability to select any exit row across my upcoming domestic & international flights. I explained to the consultant that the function was available to me as recently as Friday afternoon, but was now not operational for the 14 sectors on 3 itineraries that I booked today.

The consultant came up with lots of suggestions regarding what me or my computer were doing wrong! I very nicely explained that the suggestions were not valid & indeed the final page of seat selection included a new selectable message; all of which led me to suspect yet another website "enhancement" over the weekend. The consultant insisted that there have not been any modifications for any reason to the website for the past month. Quite a frustrating conversation in the end.

My next stop was AFF - I should have visited here first - thanks to everyone for providing info as to what is going on! This is about the 5th or 6th occasion for me that AFF has helped when QF Premium have not!!!

Just received this from Qantas:
Thank you for your email,

We are currently aware of this issue and it is currently being investigated by our third party booking system Amadeus.

We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing and will advise as soon as the error has been rectified.

Flying QF to Melb on Wed AM 8am, return Friday 8pm. Cannot book any exit rows, or for that matter on the return leg, nothing in the first 14 rows!!!!???
Spoke to another very rude woman at Platinum and informed that all seats are blocked for Chairmans status?

This airline has become a complete joke, loyalty is spelt a little different at Qantas...STITCHUP!
