I'm interested in spending 3 to 6 months on some kind of exchange program in Japan. I am a 49 year old female with lots of cultural interests, a very experienced executive assistant used to working with all levels of government and specialising in event organisation and project management. Ideally I'd like to spend some time working and living like a local. I have very basic Japanese language skills. Any ideas from AFF colleagues as to what type of program I could investigate? There must be something out there for me! All suggestions welcome. Thanks, AngieP

Sorry no idea at but good on you for thinking about expanding your horizons.

I guess at our age one of the few opportunities might be if your company has a presence and you can work there for awhile.

I may be reading this wrong, but I think a professional qualification is required, or equivalent recognised professional experience & is limited to listed areas of work.
