I was booked on the last QF flight of the day yesterday ADL-SYD and from mid-morning my phone was going nuts with text messages from QF about ever increasing delays. As I was working I was unable to call up and try to move myself.
Turns out I didn't need to Around lunchtime I had a call from the staff at ADL QP saying that they were worried about me getting home and if I could get to the airport earlier they wanted to move me to ADL-MEL-SYD.
Also advised that they would check me in and I should go to the QP on arrival and get my BP's.
I was in J from ADL-SYD and they had secured J seats for the re-booking.

I did have a little chuckle to myself when I arrived at the QP though. They asked me if my seat allocation was ok (1F/1E) and that I would be on a bulkhead centre aisle on MEL-SYD on a 767 :mrgreen:

How is the A330 in business for the short flight?

Have a business class flight BNE-SYD Thursday afternoon on 737 and was thinking of changing it to the flight after which is an A330.

It was pretty good. Managed to serve dinner on a flight time of 55 minutes. IFE was mini-iPads

I have seen planes like that at SYD airport, when I pass from SYD QF dom to int.
