Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

2500 for $310 in one or more. We failed last week's offer so they sent the same one again!
Is that anywhere near your normal spend? That’s a high amount.

I note when I did a once off high spend due to a family event they sent me a stupidly high offer the week after. I think they might have been trying to work out if I was a Coles split spender.

I've had this offer for many weeks consecutively now. Ignoring it hasn't changed the algorithm, nor has boosting it and doing a small shop (<$50). I've also cancelled my Extra subscription in the midst too.

Not sure why they keep pounding away with this most unappealing offer. Maybe it's turned into a game of chicken or maybe this is as good as it gets for me now?

We certainly can, and do, spend that much in a week, but not every week.

I think it comes because we do a $500 shop once a month to maximise the Extra discount.

Yeah I reckon that's how it started. I've not had success changing the algorithm yet nor seen any multiweek offers.

I am also on a spend $310 offer which is not an unusual spend, but with different accounts and Coles to choose from, I haven't done it on this account for months.
However I will take the "use $80 worth of points for 4000 ($20) back". That with a monthly 10% off and 4% discount on the balance via gift card discounts through WW mobile make a good deal.

Working my way through curiously timed fuel offers. 200, 500 then 1100 points for 3 consecutive $50 spends at Ampol Foodary. 500, 500, and 500 points for three consecutive $40 spends at EG Ampol. Both with a month to achieve. Completed the first three on a trip down south and started on the second. Meanwhile BP with its volume based offfering is offering a stony silence. Bizarre.
