Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I got the 14K for $210 x 3 weeks offer. Easy enough for us to do if we’re spending at the one place; also much simpler at WW where you don’t have to do it in one transaction each week. That sucks with the Fb offers

Cheers,
Matt.

I spent $16 on freezer products today, then got home and remembered my boosters, including 100 points for $10 spend on freezer products.o_O

Not gonna cry over 100 points, but I might sulk for a while

Try claiming it still?

90*3 for 8000 points, stacking with a 2* on all shops this week and a bunch of others I've activated but will pay no attention to

18000 points by spending $260 per shop over the next three weeks - not going to happen. Our normal weekly shop is around $220-240, and the odd one over $300 when I need to get dishwashing tablets etc. We never go out of our way to chase extra points by spending more than we need.

Has anyone done this offer from Origin? That’s a lot better than the Red Energy current offer. The prices are a tad higher but for 30k QF would be worth it until another offer comes along. Just want to be sure there’s no “gotcha” and points post reliably after first bill is paid.

It would depend on the rates offered at the end of the day. For the status on the ground promo I looked at red energy from my current AGL offer. Would have cost me easily $1,000 more per year if I changed electricity (rates were horrendous) but I actually saved money on my gas rates so I went with that.

It's very location dependent but I would definitely count that in your calculations. Sometimes it can be as insidious as okay usage rates but crazy daily connection rates too. That was the case with my gas (usage was pretty close but I was paying too much to be connected over a season where I hardly even use it)

When I switched to back to Origin from ActewAGL recently, Origin backdated the change to the last bill which was almost three months ago. The Origin rates were higher than ActewAGL and the difference took a lil bite out of my efforts. No idea why it's done that way. I just thought they'd cut of the existing supplier and start on the day I nominated.
