Hi all,

Having read posts from this site over the years, have now joined up. I am particularly looking forward to finding 'hot' deals and how to earn status credits to maintain Gold status or upgrade to Platinum on virgin through velocity rewards.... I don't travel for business anymore so have to make it up through personal travel so any tips appreciated :)

The only way to maintain Gold or get a shot at Plat is to fly more...no amount of money spent online shopping or anything else can help that! There are sometimes offers available...ensure you have subscribed to Velocity's emails in case you receive an offer.

Cheers Mella. Have few trips coming up and keeping my eye out for hot fares with high sc. Particularly with the change to journey / sector earning now.
