Can anyone tell me if / when Early Bird fares to Europe for travel in 2016 are going to go on sale with QF?

Which part of 2016? They often have early bird sales around September/October for travel in the second half of next year.

Yeh im waiting for those to come out as well. Planning on LHR, CDG and maybe return via JFK trip in the second half of the year.

The early birds generally start a week or two before the euro tavel expo which looks to be end of September this year

App notifications came in this morning and i see it on the QF website
The sale is on.

Do the sale fares only count if you get return?
I wanted to do a multi city SYD JFK LHR SYD which are all part of the sale but when i put dates in the price is very similar to last week before it went on sale.

This routing is generally not available at sale prices unless specifically stated. There was one sale where SYD-DXB-LHR-JFK-SYD and vice versa could be booked for about $2,400 a few years ago from memory, but it is normally around the $3,000 mark.

You may want to consider buying a ticket SYD-LHR-SYD and LHR-JFK-LHR separately (or SYD-JFK-SYD and JFK-LHR-JFK) if it works out cheaper.
