I've had a hunt around online, and can't seem to find anything on the Etihad website or elsewhere from the last few years relating to which lounge I may be able to access as a Velocity Platinum departing KL with Etihad in a couple of months time. Can anyone confirm which one it (if any) it is, and if it's worth a stop in or not on a relatively short connection?
Cheers!

Etihad uses the MH Golden Lounge in KUL for first and business class PAX. I don’t know if they give access to VA Platinum travelling in economy. It’s a decent lounge.

VA Golds and Plats have access to the same lounge as business class guests when travelling on Etihad from outstations (ie: not in AUH). This includes 3rd party contract lounges (unlike when flying SQ).

Etihad's website seems to be constantly changing but you can search which lounge Etihad uses in each city HERE. VA Gold and Plats should get a lounge invitation at check-in (either a separate piece of paper or something written on the boarding pass).

In your case Etihad use the Malaysian Airlines Golden Lounge in KUL - I'd assume it's the one in the satellite terminal although it doesn't specifically state that. I've never been but I believe this is a well reviewed lounge so might be worth checking out.

Thanks for the detailed response. In line with the constant changing of Etihads lounge info I could have sworn I used that page last week and came up blank, although perhaps my Internet skills just aren't what they used to be. I'm coming in on a VN flight (EY codeshare) so won't have the paper pass. I shall front up to the lounge and see how things go, and of course report back for future reference. Cheers!

Ahhh, coming off a connecting flight makes things a bit more difficult. I don't know how transiting in KUL works but I'd assume you'd already have your boarding pass for the onward EY flight before arrival as it's all one booking. That might be enough to get you into the lounge, otherwise a visit to the transfer desk might be in order to get a lounge invitation.

It entirely depends on how the relationship EY has with the contracted lounge works. At some 3rd party lounges they use the lounge invitation voucher number to sign me into the lounge, at others they just use the boarding pass and my VA card. Please let us know how it goes!

The lounge is the one in the satellite terminal.
There are also transfer desks within the satellite terminal so you should be able to obtain a boarding pass and lounge invite there if necessary.
From memory I was able to access the lounge wth just my EY boarding pass.
But that was an F boarding pass - not sure if VA status on the pass is enough.
