Flying on EY455 in a week or so to AUH, and reading online they provide a noise-cancelling headphones in Y.

Airline review: Etihad Airlines economy, Sydney to Abu Dhabi

Are they any good?

Has anyone who used Bose QC10, compared it to the Etihad ones?

Much appreciated :)

They're very basic noise-cancelling headphones (to be honest, I'd probably call them noise-reducing), and whilst better headphones than most other airlines in Y, I'd still recommend definitely taking Bose QC10's if you have them.

Do they use the standard airline 2-prong jack or something else? I read somewhere they use a new magnetic type jack which are not compatible to the old 2-prongs..

Thanks again.

I don't recall the magnetic connection, think is was just a normal 2 prong plug. It's been about 6 months since I've flown with them however.

My Bose 20i headphones worked on an Etihad A380 in an apartment, today, using a 2-prong adapter. Otherwise, the Etihad headphones use the magnetic jack.

On the pic in the bottom of pic are you able to use 2 prong adaptor?
