Hi,

Just a quick question, I'm flying to London V Australia then Etihad

On the way back can I use Etihads Web check in?

Thanks

Did you book with V Australia? (i.e. Does the Etihad flight have a VA flight number?)

If so, the answer is unfortunately not* :(

*According to the V Australia Guest Contact Centre about 2 weeks ago

Booked through a travel agent and the itinerary has Etihad flight numbers

so I guess I may be in luck, if not no big deal but would love to be able to check in earlier on the net

I see...

I don't see a reason why you wouldn't be able to check-in for the Etihad flight, but I'm pretty sure you won't be able to check in for the V Australia flight

Sounds good,

Dont mind having to re checkin at abu dhabi or sorting it out when I'm at the airport

Just trying to fit in a premier league game and a mad dash to the airport in one last day in london :)

It works just fine (irrespective of whether you're booked on the EY code or a VA codeshare); you need to call the VA customer service people and get the EY PNR for your flight. Once you have that, you'll be able to use it for web check in on the EY website.

Since you booked with a travel agent you travel agent can provide you with the EY pnr! ;)

yep... got it in my hands now

Is Etihad 2 hours check in or 60 mins checkin shut off?

Just wondering for bag drop off?

I have a mad dash across London in store for me

It is 60min for Economy and 45min for Business & First

Guests traveling to and from all other stations including Abu Dhabi:

• Check-in for our Coral Economy Class guests will close 60 minutes prior to departure.
• Check-in for our Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests will close 45 minutes prior to departure.
