Can anyone comment on Business Class Aust - Europe with Ethihad ? They are $2500 cheaper than QF for April and am thinking of using them. I have already got my SC's for WP again and I pay my own way, so want to know if any good.

Have not flown, but have a close friend based in AUH and he rates EY as better than QF soft and hard product. (He did a recent trip MEL-(QF)-LAX-(EY)-AUH - i think with a US domestic flight to ?JFK first).

Advantage of limo transfer at each end. Free stopover in AUH if desired (will arrange t/f to hotel in DXB if you prefer).

Would love to be able to report first hand, but on his recommnedation, unless the saving was minimal, i'd happily go EY and save the $$$.

VA will also be flying to AUH by April, so option og VA to AUH then EY into europe.

I flew Etihad business Class 18 months ago and was hands down the best business class product I've ever experienced.

Full 180 degree flat bed, awesome service and the most fantastic inflight menu I've come across with great anytime dining options.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, you'll be hard pressed to find fault in them.
