eSIM for Oman

Hi all, Any suggestions for an eSIM for phone and internet for Oman for 5 days? My home network Telstra Australia does not support global roaming there. It will cost us $5aus per minute to use my phone..

I am interested in the concept of eSims but have no experience with them.
The notion of running my local sim plus having an international sim for phone use while in USA and EU could be handy.
What have members experience been? TIA

Most of the discussion is data only eSIMs but as a Telstra customer, you should be able to use wifi calling (if you need to make/receive calls).
