Has anyone traveled to Saint Lucia in recent times (ie the past 12 months) I'm considering a trip to the Carribbean next week and before booking everything I was carrying out my due diligence on the destination and found some conflicting advice. Some suggest that a visa can be obtained on arrival for $50USD, while the Saint Lucian govt website suggest that a visa must be obtained prior to arrival, though does not explicitly state this.

I've emailed them to get a definitive answer, but if anyone has actual experience that they're willing to share would be very nice of you as well.

Scratch that. The Saint Lucians just replied saying that Australians can obtain a tourist visa at the port of entry.

Australians does not have any restrictions to sta lucia, therefore, obtaining it in the port of entry as what elbarto said is correct. that is one advantage of Australians compared to other countries.
