Received my Energy Australia bill last week.

Happened to see that in the "How to pay" section, Credit Card by phone, it says "Diners excluded". Rushed to checked the bill for the prior quarter, it was "Amex and Diners excluded".

So picked up my phone and paid the Energy Australia bill by Amex. The amount appeared in the Amex website, no surcharge.

It appears everything is OK. Great.

And if only I could get Red Energy to accept Amex for their direct debits.
Oh....and very much would like Australian Unity Health Insurance too. I've reported them to Amex.
