Hi guys,

Yes, yet another poster asking about Emirates upgrades to Business clas ;)

I've got a one way flight booked for the end of September from Perth to London Heathrow via Dubai.

I wanted to upgrade the ticket to Business class so that I could take advantage of the extra baggage allowance. I do have enough frequent flier points for it, the upgrade is only 25,000 between DXB and LHR.

I managed to upgrade the Perth to Dubai leg, but I'm having trouble finding availability for Dubai to Heathrow (EK1 flight...I know, what a pain!!)

As I don't want to risk over-packing, relying on getting an upgrade at check in and finding out they can't do it, I was wondering what other options I have?

I don't mind paying for the upgrade of that leg, considering they only allocate a small number for reward upgrades, but I was wondering if that would be worth paying for and roughly how much it would be?

Tried calling Emirates + Skywards for it, but they don't seem to understand/cannot help me.

I have been desperately refreshing the search on seatcounter to see if I'm any closer to getting that upgrade, but no such luck.

Many thanks in advance.
