Looks like Per has just lost EY too. I wonder how QF 9/10 has impacted this or if PER couldn’t support the capacity in the first place.

Don't forget that Qatar will finally be upgrading capacity with the a380 for PER around 2 weeks from now ... so, unless they've screwed up, its more likely that people just don't care for EY ... doesn't seem to have a great rep in PER (or elsewhere, as far as I can tell).
Pity though ... more competition and more seats the better - and with the departure of EY, we not only don't have the "withdrawn before even starting" Virgin flights, but their alternative/replacement too.
Oh well ... that's what you get when you're not in Syddeny!

One of the reasons QF use PER for the QF9 nonstop to London is aircraft range.

There is PER traffic otherwise they'd use BME.

However the WA 'resources' "boom" is nothing like it was and so, less need for PER capacity.

Perhaps VA will redo the stillborn AUH route, and run a 777-200 from PER...
Edit: Don't leave your PC sitting idle/logged in when there's a joker in town!
