Looks like Per has just lost EY too. I wonder how QF 9/10 has impacted this or if PER couldn’t support the capacity in the first place.
Rumoured to be pulling out completely in OctoberEY going from 787 to 330 - or are they pulling out completely?

Don't forget that Qatar will finally be upgrading capacity with the a380 for PER around 2 weeks from now ... so, unless they've screwed up, its more likely that people just don't care for EY ... doesn't seem to have a great rep in PER (or elsewhere, as far as I can tell).Looks like Per has just lost EY too. Perhaps VA will redo the stillborn AUH route, and run a 777-200 from PER...Don't forget that Qatar will finally be upgrading capacity with the a380 for PER around 2 weeks from now ... so, unless they've screwed up, its more likely that people just don't care for EY ... doesn't seem to have a great rep in PER (or elsewhere, as far as I can tell).
Pity though ... more competition and more seats the better - and with the departure of EY, we not only don't have the "withdrawn before even starting" Virgin flights, but their alternative/replacement too.
Oh well ... that's what you get when you're not in Syddeny!
