Hey all,

I've read the airlines FAQ and searched but still can't get a 100% answer.

We're WP with Qantas, and if flying Emirates Trans Tasman to NZ can we access the Emirates Lounge or even the Qantas Lounge?

What about if travelling Qantas on a Qantas marked flight, can we then access the Emirates Lounge?

Thanks.

You don't indicate any airpots but here's the WP rules for MEL and AKL:

Airport Lounges at Melbourne International Airport | Qantas

International First Lounge at Auckland International Airport | Qantas

The answer is still yes to all.

Can someone confirm if this is right; flying BNE-DUB-frankfurt on Emirates (QF Flight number) which has a stopover in SIN , QF lounge in SIN closed for the day and wasn't allowed access into Emirates lounge (only access allowed in Dubai)?

What status do you have?

(QP won't get you in to an EK lounge other than at DXB.)

Thanks Serfty, sorry for late reply: Yes only QP. I'm disappointed Qantas sells tickets with QF flight number but doesn't offer the full service to it's customers. Why don't I just switch to EK rewards program and book directly with them in future? RIP Qantas international.

Mrs GPH and I are travelling in J as a WP from BNE-AKL (on QF Metal) , I was speaking with a client of mine the other day and it turns out he and his partner are flying EK the same day (15 mins different departure) He has no Status (with anyone) and I understand we can access the EK lounge in BNE as WP ?
What I cant find is the rules for guesting into the EK lounge in BNE.
It would seem that the QF J and F lounge is a no go as they are on EK metal
Can anyone assist me here I think we are cool to use the EK lounge. BUT can we take guests who are flying EK with us?

Hi GPH given your status and being in J I would think you should be ok with that as long as you both have status with QF you should both be bale to guest 1 person travelling on the same flight

Given the guests are not on the same flight technically no for both, but I would try QF anyway, EK is too far away to make the long walk to disappointment.

I kinda agree. But Mrs GPH wants to visit the EK lounge regardless, I may suss out the QF j lounge first ( and that way Mrs GPH can slope off and check out the EK lounge and see if we can access. ......oh well we shall see . Thanks for the tips everyone

Hi all.. I have a complimentary QF first pass to use and I am wondering if I can use it on an EK flight from SYD - DUB? Will the First lounge accept this pass even though I am flying with EK?

What does the pass say?

What do you mean full service?
You are flying on a codeshare through a port in which the lounge program you are a member of is closed because Qantas has no morning flights thru that airport.

You obviously don't fly enough on Qantas to get Gold or Platinum status, so not sure how moving to EK will help you.

FYI. Not many airlines around the world offer paid 'Club' programs.

I was going to say much the same on reading this thread, until I noticed it was an old post! :p

Thanks, what a dumb question. FYI it is for use in Sydney or Melbourne only :)

Not a dumb question at all. There are certain passes out there that state for use with QF/JQ only but there are others that state for use with QF, JQ and EK.

The pass should say on it which carriers you must be on to use it.

FWIW, DUB is the airport code for Dublin.

Can anyone offer advice for BNE? I am QF WP flying Qantas, can I enter the EK lounge and is it better than the Qantas First?
