I'm doing some international travel in June with my partner and 12 year old. My tickets are booked with EK flight numbers (bar one on Ukraine International Airlines, PS373). I will be WP by the time I take these flights.

I've looked and can't find a clear answer anywhere on whether or not I'll have lounge access for me, +2. Is anyone experienced in using the Emirates lounges with 2 guests (one being a child?)

Cheers in advance.

I would suggest that until approval is given, and flights have commenced, there wont be a clear answer on lounge access.

That said, if lounge access was given while flying on EK numbers, providing the 12 year old looked sufficiently young, I'd imagine they wouldn't take up a guest spot, but you'll just have to hold your breath like the rest of us.

Unless I've missed something of course, and someone more well versed will correct me if I have.

Now that QF fly via DBX en route to LHR. I presume the EK lounge is available to WP etc during the stop for fuel and Pax?

I would wait until further details come out before we speculate.

We are talking about EK flight numbers here so that could be the stumbling block here.

If you read the FAQs on QANTAS and Emirates it suggests that if you're travelling on EK flights you can still the lounge. But as has been noted, probably preferable to wait until the final lounge policy is released.

The FAQ says you will have lounge access, and I think its safe to assume that you will, however where you might come unstuck is having +@.

Although QF are very generous when it comes to lounge access EK are as tight as a ducks ar5e. No guarantee that you will be allowed access for +2.

Resurecting an old thread. Sitting in the EK Singapore lounge with two guests who are travelling with me.

I have been advised by the lounge attendents that WPs can guest two adults and two kids when travelling on EK or QF. It was a nice surprise considering QF only allows one.

Perhaps they read as far as domestic lounges on the qantas page.

I went through Singapore on Friday and was very happy to use the Emirates Lounge. Although I like the design of the new QF lounge and the food choices (excellent on Friday) the wine is a big let down (for a wine geek like me). The Emirates wine selection is so much better and the food pretty good too. No boarding announcements though so you can't go too big on the wine!!!

We will be doing DXB to VIE in J on EK as a WP could we use the 1st lounge?.
