Emirates First Class, Melbourne - Singapore

Thinking of booking Emirates A380 when it commences on First, Melbourne - Singapore on QF points and just have a few questions as never flown EK.

(1) Is this a good flight for a First EK trip?

(2) Given it is a QF points flight with a EK flight # do you have access to the QF First lounge?

(3) Do you get Chauffer transfers? if so if 2 people are travelling do they allow you to double the distance like Etihad?

(4) Are you able to select seats?

Normally fly SQ F or J so out of comfort zone on this one.

Yes you get QF First lounge access, and Yes you get chauffeur transfers, although the double distance part is highly unlikely.

Thanks for correcting. I did mean yes to chauffuer drive and then no to double distance. Just recently flew EK F using QF points so should have known better.

have a flight on EK first Mel - Sin in Dec this year with a QF ticket and we cannot get the chauffeur drive
If anyone knows a remedy to this please let me know
We are also unable to pre book a spa treatment even though it is technically a QF F flight ticket albeit on EK metal.
The SC and miles were the deciding factor for us

Chauffeur transfer on LHR flights both directions but not on SIN flights unless on EK flight.

If you are travelling EK F then EK will give you chauffeur drive in Melbourne and Singapore - I've had it flying in J on EK but on a QF ticket in SIN. Have you tried the EK website?

The QF F lounges only allow pre-booking of spa treatments one-day out and for QF metal F flights only.

Qantas award tickets always book onto the EK flight number not the qf codeshare. So op will have an ek flight number.
