Our first EK flight AKL to SYD in J was exceptional. Have never flown EK before and thought if this is how good they are, they have won me. Seems as though we were just lucky to have a fab crew.

am I the only one who finds it odd that a 'premium' long haul airline doesn't offer pjs in J?
Cathay doesn't even provide an amenity pack in J and no PJ's.
Interesting. I usually fly with Qantas and assumed it's a common practice. Definitely seems common sense.

QR also fails to consistently provide pyjamas in J
I flew 4 segments on QR last Oct but received PJs on 1. I understand none issued in flights under 8 hrs
FWIW BNE - SIN is under 8hrs (just, at 7:55) and I did get PJs on that flight last time.

Yes they do. I've flown several long hauls in J on CX and never failed to get an amenity kit :?:
Oh. Yes. You are totally right. It was just the PJ's missing. It was actually a lovely folder containing Jurlique (a client of ours - sorry Jon!)
It was Singapore Airlines J class that provided nothing.
