Emirates A380 - Business Class Seats

Hi All,

Used a mixed fare from HKG to Euro and going Y to DXB & MUC then return LHR-DXB-HKG in J. There are two of us going and we have currently selected the following seats, any ideas if these are not would be helpful

HKG-DXB -777 47A&B
DXB-MUC - A380 44A7B
LHR-DXB - A380 - 11K & 14K
DXB-HKG - A380 - 14K & 16K

I can only speak two for the Business seats but the ones you've chosen look good - as long as you don't want to sit next to each other! The A and K seats are really quite private, and you won't see much of your travelling companion for the rest of the flight if you choose them. If I was travelling as with someone I would probably choose the E and F seats - at least for the day time flights.

In some ways the E and F seats are nicer when you have a companion as they are still private but a bit less claustrophobic than the A and K seats. Do a Google Image search for "emirates a380 business" and you'll see lots of photos which will explain the cabin layout.

The other tip is to make sure you don't end up in the Business seats in the smaller cabin at the rear of the upper deck, which seems to be where they put the kids and is near the noise from the bar.

Thanks for that info on the rear section of business class. I have booked seats at the front (10) and then read a travel writer in the Sydney Morning Herald last week who says ask for the seats in the rear compartment (with the bar area) as it feels "snug". I think crazy if this is where the bar is so thanks for the heads up on this.
