hi, I'm on the 777 EK0404, does anyone know if it's a "refreshed" Emirates 777-300? Or is it random? (I know it's not the "Game changer" 777. Thanks

According to Flightradar24, today’s flight was on a 6-year-old 777 with the registration A6-EPO. Feel free to look it up, but the easy answer to your question is: If it’s got Premium Economy, it’s ”refreshed”. If it doesn’t have PE, it hasn’t been.

But Premium Economy is only on A380 not B777?
Sorry, you’re right. Emirates plans to install it on 777s but apparently hasn’t yet.

Ok thanks, I'm flying in J paid return BNE/SIN (QF) SIN/MEL (Emirates) (cost me $9k for 1 adult 1 child - booked via EK) and just wondering if you'd pay the $2.6k upgrade to First (total for 2x pax), agreed it's a bit of a waste for a child but I can't leave him in J!

Reading @Mattg 's review might help you decide!

No F lounge in BNE and not open in SIN at the time of your flight

$2.6k is not too bad. But I'd be wanting to finish 1 bottle of Hennessey Paradis and 3 serves of Caviar at the minimum 🤣

Well if it was like the EK 777 we flew from SIN - DBX I would definitely not want to be on it. 2-3-2 in J and I got a middle J seat. Not even comfortable for a day time flight.

I've read unfavorable reviews of the 777 J seat but I thought being a day time Flight it would be ok! (Which is the SIN/MEL EK flight)
