EK seat selection

I'm flying on EK, May 10, MEL to DXB then DXB to BUD. Can anyone tell me how far out can I select seats? The app and website keeps coming up with an error so I cant. Am I possibly too far out from departure?

I'm travelling in Y.

It should be there straight after booking. If you booked through QF, note that there's a separate PNR for EK.

Thanks, yes , did book through QF, when on the EK app etc, entered the QF booking number, all our info came up on the EK site. Will keep trying.

Ok I tried the EK website, (not app) and retrieved my booking with the six digit EK booking number.

Same details as when I put in the QF six digit number into the EK website, Flight details, passenger names, FF number etc. All I get when I go to chose seat is "Important - we cant price this seat at the moment"

I'll have a go at the app later but at no stage on the EK website could I find a PRN
