Honestly, I have tried searching on AFF and the websites, but am no further informed..... A lot of posts are a couple of years old, so I think rules have change, lounges have refurbished, etc.

We booked EK from SIN-FCO. We are in a380 F from SIN-DXB, and then a change of aircraft (and 3 hour layover) to a 777 in J from DXB - FCO. Questions:

1) Which lounge can we and should we use in Singapore before our 2105 departure?

2) Will we be able to use the Emirates F lounge in Dubai? (PLEASE?!?!?!?)

Thanks, and apologies to those rolling their eyes. :)

Do you have any status with Qantas or Emirates to use F lounge in Dubai - which is superb btw?

Yes, the coveted SILVER QF Status which I think will expire before the flight. That comes with a personal assistant and a meet and greet with the CEO of EK right? :)

No. We don't.

Oh, and we land at peak hour in DXB (0050 hrs), so we will be transiting with just a few other flights. :p

Yep. I am silver too. Gold is quite good but it is WP that counts. So Emirates F is out in Dubai but I understand lounge access in business. Which is still really nice and comfortable.

Unless someone corrects me - only two options, EK or QF lounge. In SIN the EK lounge is good, but QF lounge is a notch above in a number of situations. I personally would visit the EK one first and then go to the QF after and for the remainder - the EK will be closer to the gate for an EK flight. In SIN the EK lounge is a mixed J & F, no special area for F PAX

I doubt you would as lounge access is determined by your departing flight which is J, not by your incoming flight being F.

Thanks for the replies. I had read of some people who were arriving In F and departing in J having access to the F lounge in DXB, but it seemed inconsistent and by luck. Some talked about being on a F fare but in J so they were allowed in, but my booking clearly has two coloured class flags on it

Thanks again.
