Since Air Asia and Emirates joined this route, the world has become just soooo much cheaper. I love this EK service to KL (and beyond), but equally, I love having the backup of the Air Asia Premium seat if need be.....not that there is anything wrong with MH. Shows the benefits of competition.
The downside I guess is the loss of interesting routes like the MEL-Jakarta service on MH.
