EK discontinues some special meals for economy

Just got an email from EK... from 1 June 2017 low calorie, ovo-lacto veggie and oriental veggie meals will no longer be available for economy pax. Passengers flying before that date will get orders honoured, but no new orders will be taken (cut off date for ordering the above was 1 march 2017).

Eventually, they'll offset their annual F1/Bernie Ecclestone spend ... in my calculations, with all the cuts and reductions announced so far, they'll fully offset one year's F1 spend sometime in the late 45th century...
