So neither of the EK services ex BNE to DXB will connect with QF1 or QF9 without hellishly long layovers?

QF9 DXB LHR 01:10 Departure
QF1 DXB LHR 02:05 Departure

Assuming QF dont change the QF1/9 times also.

You would connect with one of the EK services DXB-LHR or DXB-LGW. Or if you really want to arrive in London on QF, then do a domestic connection to SYD or MEL and go QF all the way.

Yes, that's really wonderful. As someone that flies SIN-BNE-AKL on EK quite regularly, it will now increase my layover to 10 hours from 7 hours.

Well done!

I can't see connecting to a QF service, having travelled through SIN to DXB, on Emirates, being a big issue. If taking that route (BNE-SIN-DXB-LHR), I'd imagine you'd be fine with staying on EK metal!

The Emirates schedule has changed temporarily to allow resurfacing of RWY01/19 during late evening and into the morning during the JUN-SEP period. The schedule reverts to the 0230L departure during the first week of October.

Numerous Airlines such as Virgin Australia, Air Pacific and Singapore Airlines have also been required to amend their schedules to accommodate the runway work. Singapore Airlines for example have opted for a 2310L departure ex-Brisbane for flight 246.

Bugger, was looking forward to a return day flight from SIN that put me in bed at a decent time.
