This thread has been posted with AFF admin approval.
Folks,
together with the moderators of the EK forum over on FT (eightblack and Zol) and people at the Qantas forum on FT we will be hosting a conference call tomorrow to chat about the recent EK/QF partnership. The call will be recorded and a link posted later for those who wont be able to dial in.
The purpose of the call is to chat about the common questions and concerns that have arisen since the announcement this morning. We won't have all the answers and the call isn't going to be a "when I see Alan Joyce I am going to slap him silly" type of session. We want the call to be productive, informative and as beneficial to as many as possible.
You get the idea.
If you want to participate, all you need to do is dial in at the appropriate time. (There is a limit to 96 participants, so if you want to be on the call, dial in)
The call will be muted initially and we want you to post your questions in either the QF or EK threads on FT.
EK and QF Conference Call - Open Invitation - FlyerTalk Forums
While the call is on, I will also provide a Skype ID for those who want to send questions via instant message.
We will invite the airlines to attend - but I suspect they will be listening (and not participating).
We look forward to chatting tomorrow...
