Can’t imagine they’d let Y into J bar.

Grumpy late middle age man hat on. Why not a whole meal, or a few drinks? I think it's a strange thing to think it is even a teansy bit ok. It might just be a few snacks but if it's just to interact, interact, without the need to take stuff from J. Guest to the bar? Um no.

Maybe stop at the curtain and toss them back into ... whatever its called ... :p

Dungeon cos it’s downstairs

As it turned out, it was no probs at all after asking at bar. Brought down a mock tail and some snacks to friend in dungeon who did not want it as she was airsick as soon as the plane started moving and for most of the flight. Not a good start for a safari especially with the sitting in a bouncing jeep

As with most things airline related, it’s all about stretching the friendship - where possible:D

Yeah. Grumpy late middle age hat on indeed. :)

I hear what you are saying and agree re the bar and taking of alcohol back into Y. I can handle a packet of chips though.

Poor thing. Travel sickness is a misery. Also for surrounding passengers.

Yes I instructed Miss QS to not ask for alcohol for friend because bar might refuse someone asking alcohol for friend

Was window seat in row 70 something.
And had packed airsick pills in checked L

Ah. Let’s hope the planning of friend improves then.

Hope so as she said on the way to airport that she left her socks in Wagga as we were parking the car in P7 carpark at SYDi

Miss QS did ask if friend could join her in bar first but that was not allowed. The barwoman said the Economy class have their own area. Not sure what that is as there is no bar area downstairs.

So it seems that with rear stairs can go down and up but not up and down

And I haven't even got to work yet! Watch out colleagues. Even had a very nice weekend including booking a trip to Uluru.
