Hi guys - I was wondering if there is any way of knowing when booking, if the aircraft has 1st class suites or not? EK run two configs, with 1st class, but only one of them has the suites. I am really keen to experience a suite. Does anyone know if they mix up their configs, or if the one config is generally run on BNE - SIN route.

Not sure if I should have posted this here or in Emirates group...

Regards,
Matt

I've done it four times and had the suite each time, I think it's pretty much standard for that route. I've actually even stopped checking ahead of time, which might not be all that wise.

The B77Ws that EK sends to Australia all have the suites in first class.

Does EK not make F seats available during peak season? I am looking to travel in late July 2016 and can see F seats until around early June and then again from October. I have had a good look through July/August/September and it just seems there is nothing available in that time.

I rang QFF call centre and they couldn't see any availability at that time either.

I guess it would make sense for the airline to not make them available when there is high demand on the flights to maximise the chances of someone actually paying for the seat.
