EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

The only thing I get from Big W is toys.
My children are too old and no grand children yet. Delete.

I am a bit hesitant to buy the gold products, as I do not want them to replace the variety of choice of other similar established products.
I like to be able to have a choice and not just the Woolies brands.

Got the Big W toy offer on all 4 accounts.

Not excited at all.

Got the Big W offer as well.....

I'm deleting these straight away now. I'm single, live by myself and don't have kids, what a waste of a 'targetted' offer.
I think it's time to send some feedback to EDR regarding these offers.

Received this offer today:

Buy 1 Woolworths "Gold" product for 50 points
Buy 2 Woolworths "Gold" products for 150 points
Buy 3 Woolworths "Gold" products for 250 points.

I don't think I've actually bouught these Gold products before but for 250 points I might consider for this weekend's shopping.

The pasta is okay.

Mum - Double points this weekend
Brother - Double points this weekend
Me - Double points this weekend

Keeps the balance ticking over.

I received an offer for 250 bonus points for a $30 spend at WOW.

I don't do jet lag.

I have the double points promo and tagging this into the 1000 points for online shopping should prove to be pretty decent.

Spent $32 at Woolworths today, earned 532 points :D (2 base points + 250 points for spending $30, 250 points for 3 "Gold" products + 30 points for 6x Bankwest transactions (I was going to do 32xtransactions but Woolworths was busing :p))

Our family member who got the 250 points for $30 spend just got another offer. Spend $80 in one transaction for 500 points or spend $120 for 750 points. The offer period is very interesting. It runs from Monday 7 July to Thursday 10 July.

I haven't seen a vaild period like this before in an EDR offer before. I guess they are trying something new. If there are some really good half price specials in the catalogue we might consider taking this offer up but at this stage we are unlikely to use it.

I too received the 750 for $120 offer yesterday & just organised a $150 home delivery (5 x free home delivery + 5 x $120 spend = bonus 5000 points)

120 points (standard)
750 bonus points (Min $120 spend)
1000 ‘home delivery’ bonus points (1 of 5 shops to qualify)

…. and 225 points for paying on credit card LOL.

2095 points for a few items (all catalogue specials, 50% catalogue runs till Tuesday!) and some b@stard to home deliver it for free LOL.

Just wondering who else has had the same issue as myself (just now, driving home)?

Re-fueled at woolies, in which I have chosen the points option instead of $ discount.

My maths says for 2qff per litre, I shall gain 112 QFF points (56 litres).

So I think very hard at the offer showing on the bowser, which says spend $5 in store to instantly get another 4c off the purchase.

I treat this is another 2 QFF per litre, which makes it become 224 QFF earnt.

Instead, I have actually been given the $0.04c of the actual price per litre (saved $2.24, lost 112 points!).

Pictures attached, including reciept!

Whether they are allowed to NOT give the "bonus/ instant savings" as I have chosen (points, not cash), I will be complaining and maby even speak to consumer affairs and maby even the chamnel 2 show "checkout"!

- Yes I knpw checkout season has ended just now...

I am guessing that Everyday Rewards was down at the time so you automatically received the discount. Check you account and if you have not received the points in a few days then send off email with your receipt asking for the points to be credited. I have done this in the past.

You can only get the points for the initial fuel voucher on your Everyday Rewards account.

The second offer of 4 cents off is a promotion run directly by the service station section of Woolworths and runs independently now of the original 4 cents off offer. It's non an EDR/QFF promotion. This means you aren't eligible for QFF points on the extra "discount" you earned by spending $5 instore.
