I currently still have a Virgin Mobile phone plan and so does Hubby.
I know we have to stop this soon as Virgin Mobile will no longer exist. I'm holding out because I'm still earning points by having the plan.
Can anyone tell me if any other service providers have the ability to earn Velocity Points?

I wonder if Optus would pick them up. They lost QF to Vodafone a few years ago and as Virgin is a subsidiary of Optus it seems plausible. Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Don't Optus and Flybuys (ergo VFF) sometimes partner up on offers?

Yes Optus and Flybuys have promotions, you can view current offers at this link -> Optus | flybuys
The email I received has a longer link which I guess has my Flybuys number in it so have removed it.
The T&C's also say you must of received the email to activate the offer.

Thanks everyone. Virgin Mobile have Optus all over their page but it is strange that they haven't got Velocity Points attached. They ask us to swap to Optus but won't give us points.
I have flybuys of course, but I get 2 points right now per dollar spent with Virgin Mobile so I'll stick with that right up until they close then look for a new contract.

I have three phones on a single Virgin account and will be hanging out until May next year when Virgin Mobile finally shuts down. All accounts are out of contract.

None of the 'tailored' Optus offerings have been enticing enough to have me switch as yet.

The Optus plans are terrible. And almost double the cost of what I'm paying now with Virgin Mobile.

I agree ... although they are not as bad as those of Tesltra.

Plus there's the additional benefits such as rollover, discounted airfares and data sharing.

I'll miss them.

Still there's 14 more months or so ...

My Virgin contract ended, and I signed up for the equivalent Optus plan (same monthly commitment) with 40k bonus Flybuys points and a free Google Home.

That 40k will translate into more than 4x the VFF points I earned over a 24-month contract with Virgin.

Does anyone know of any other plans I can earn Either VFF or QF points?

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe Qantas is no longer partnered with Vodafone and instead linked with Kogan mobile Prepaid at a rate of 1pt per $2 spend.

I prefer to be on a Plan with a phone so the Kogan setup isn't for me

The best plans available to me represent a $10 to $20 per month increase in cost per phone (my plan is very good). So 10 months to go

Same here, all the Optus plans or plans with any other carrier have a large price increase over what I have now with Virgin.
And I don't see any bonus Velocity Points at the moment with Optus either.

I have a Virgin SIM Only plan - $30 per month and 10 GB (with monthly rollover and shareable) - more than I can use.

I do note a Flybuys promo email I received yesterday.

Among the offers were:

- 30K flybuys (13050 velocity) for a 12 month 80GB per month sim plan for $59 per month ( 2GB International zone 1 roaming data as well ).
- 25K flybuys (10875 velocity) for a 12 month 30GB per month sim plan for $49 per month.

I note that Optus have recently increased their 12mth SIM only prices significantly.

My discounted $40/mth (was $50) plan with 80Gb local data and 4Gb roaming data looks like absolute bargain now...

What will happen after your 12 months?

I just switched to Boost (Telstra) prepaid. $150 / year gets me unlimited this that and the other plus 80Gb data which is more than I can use. Buying the recharge voucher at Coles gets FB and CC points.
