Hi everyone

My Dad is travelling LHR - MEL return business class in January with Singapore Airlines. Would he be allowed to join velocity and earn points for his journey which he can later transfer to my velocity account? He really doesn't travel so he would not use points even if he joined krisflyer so just trying to work out some options

thanks

Yes absolutely, as long as you have the same residential address and you set up family pooling from your Dad's account. You have the option to transfer points, status credits or both (which would be terrific value for you on that leg in J)

Do as mella2007 says though and set up the family pooling before his trip. No need for retro claims etc then.
