Earning QF status credits with Finnair

As an update, QF acknowledges the integrity of the ticket and Oneworld Explorer Fare (which means that charter flights cannot be included in these tickets and all flights are eligible to earn points and status credits by OW airlines) BUT "computer says no", AY3885 is considered a charter so cough* off and don't bother arguing any longer.

I have lodged a complaint with the Airline Customer Advocate, not having much hope of getting the points and status credits, but I won't be giving up for now

I think I will do the same with my near-identical issue (Qantas refusing to accept validity of a Finnair codeshare flight) so I will give them one more chance and tell them that I will address it with the ACA after that

The ff call center are absolutely atrocious and probably payed very little and not empowered to think, especially when subjected to phishing
Even the vip team couldn’t help when flying an Alaska regional flight on a new route that hadn’t been loaded into their system. They insisted that the regional flights were not one world as operated by horizon despite the relationship exactly the same as Qantas link. It eventually got fixed, but not by them. I wonder if you can take them to qcat for status credits
