Earning Points on home insurance with a business?

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with earning points on home insurance that also features a hair salon on site?

A family friend has tried both Qantas Insurance and Virgin Money and neither will insure due to a business?

Is there a way around it?

Both Qantas and Virgin Money are underwritten by Auto&General. A&G have a pretty vanilla acceptance profile. Both TMDs reference that their product is not suitable for "Properties that are used for commercial purposes."

If it were me, I'd prioritise getting fit-for-purpose insurance over a handful of points.
